I Have Some Catching Up To Do

First stop: Boise, Idaho to visit my sister and let the cousins play!

I feel so out of touch, it’s been too long since our last entry. The days and weeks have just flown by with so many happenings, and hardly time to document them…so I’ll start where I left off. The end of May Shawn and I both left, unfortunately in different directions. Shawn headed to Kansas City for a two week work training, and instead of spending the two weeks alone locking myself in our bedroom with the baby and cat when it got dark outside, I decided to pack my bags too. My little vacation started in Idaho, detoured to Logan, Utah for a day, and ended in California. Finally, after two long weeks, and a grand total of 10 take offs and landings, our little family was reunited at last! Here are some (and you know me, when I say “some” I really mean quite a few because I can never just pick a few) pictures of my trip.

Grandma “Dub” (Dub is short for “W”…so instead of Grandma Waldron it’s Grandma Dub) and the Grandkids- minus Harlyn

My mom came for a little visit and to watch Emma’s dance recital while Victoria and I were at my sister’s.

My sister, Rose (6 months prego) and I

Madi, Victoria, and Emma

After our visit with my sister, my mom and I drove to Logan, spent the rest of the day there with some family, and flew to California the next morning.

Victoria and Harlyn- My brother Kurt’s baby girl-Victoria was trying to give her kisses

While I was in Logan Victoria and I made a little surprise visit to my mother-in-law… Carol screamed and then Victoria screamed

The last part of our trip was spent in California, and I was reminded how much I loathe the LA airport…but it was good to be home.

Daughtry...I mean Casey, Dawn, Jake, Victoria, Newt, Mom, Dad, Krystal

My brothers and I…we were just missing Kurt

Our dog, Siena

Although it was rough being away from Shawn for what seemed liked forever, it was a good feeling to spend time with family.
